Title: Ozark Excalibur 

     A short shovel stuck in a bag of concrete. Dry and hard as a  rock. Painted at Rebecca's Farm, west of ES on the White River.

 Plein Air Festival 2023, Eureka Springs 5/1-5/6 2023. My three enteries into the competition. " Inn of the Ozarks", "Magnetic Springs", "Bean Me Up". Top picture is my self made painting apparatus. All three paintings are 9x12 canvas panels. Painted with Acrylic's.

 A picture of my attempt at acrylic painting from a class at ESSA taught by Farley Lewis from Springfield MO.  He is a professional Plein Air painter and educator. Great class learned a lot.  I'll put his link in the section below.   

 Well, here in Eureka Springs, AR we are   in the midst of a Plein Air Festival. About 20 participants from local members of the local Plein Air group to a number of out of state attendants.  I will last the entire week ending with Judging on May 6. Wish me luck! :-).  

This a busy month in Eureka, the month of May is designated ART month. May 6 is also the date for the Artragious Parade, a 2 hour extravaganza of floats, walkers, bands, with everyone clad in their own version of walking art. It's a great time. I'll put some picture in if I have time to snap some.
